Pedro López Arriba
Ateneo de Madrid, Spain
Pedro López Arriba, born in Madrid in 1956, holds degrees in Law and Philosophy from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and has held various positions of responsibility on the Governing Board of the Ateneo de Madrid.
He is currently a Library Member of the Governing Board of the Ateneo Científico, Literario y Artístico de Madrid, a position he has held since 2023. He has also served as Treasurer (2008–2012) and First Vice-President (2012–2016) of the Governing Board. In addition, he has chaired the Section of Legal and Political Sciences of the Ateneo on multiple occasions between 2009 and 2020.
He has regularly contributed to media outlets such as Entreletras.eu and El Catoblepas. In 2023, he was elected as Library Member in the Board renewal, alongside the new president Luis Arroyo. He has also participated in cultural events organised by the Ateneo, including the presentation of the book Esta es la voz y la voluntad de los leoneses in November 2024, where he opened the event.

Escuela Hispánica is a space dedicated to research, culture, and the dissemination of the Hispanic world, promoting knowledge and international collaboration.
