Idoya Zorroza Huarte

María Idoya Zorroza Huarte is an Associate Professor at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, where she also directs the Institute of Ibero-American Thought. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Navarra (2001), is accredited by ANECA, and specialises in the history of Spanish philosophy (both contemporary and classical, with a particular focus on the School of Salamanca).

Her research focuses on the anthropology of justice and the thought of figures such as Francisco de Vitoria and Francisco Suárez. She has coordinated collective works, participated in national and international research projects (including one funded by MICINN), and has served as a visiting professor at universities in Peru and Kenya.
